We cut the Hobie in half and reglued the 1/4 inch redwood stringer back on one side of the old foam. Then we used gorilla glue (it swells and fills in the gaps) and glued the new balsa center section.

Austin just finished redoing an old DaCat that a friend of his gave him. The DaCat was found under a house in Norfolk. Since it wasn’t going to be in “original” condition anyway Austin decided to put his own little slant on the project. Hence the large paw prints.
