A good friend and customer Justin wanted to get his favorite board (okay one of his favorite boards) but in miniature for his little nephew.  You see the outcome here!  It is a Soul Glide but divided in half.  Actually I wouldn’t mind trying it myself.  So you people riding your 10 and 11 feet Soul Glides look out.  The Mini SG is now in the line ups.

We just attended the Grand Opening of Nivel Vintage Motorcycles & Art in Virginia Beach.  If you want a vintage Triumph, and who doesn’t, check out their new shop.  Igor was there showing his pinstriping talents.  Igor, pinstripes, vintage motorcycles, and surf art always makes for a good time.

Austin in Liquid Salt Magazine

The First Annual Board Swap was held this past weekend.  Everyone had a great time sharing stories, enjoying good company, and some tasty food.  Thank you to everyone who attended.  It was suggested that we have anthor one towards the end of the summer.  If you are interested drop us an email and if we get enough responses it might be a bi-annual event!

Austin Board Swap

Well the first 51 caliber rolled off the factory floor and spent only a short two weeks in the Austin Shop before it found a new home.  Its new owner took it home and said it would be seen soon at 1st street in Virginia Beach.  Austin made sure to get a promise that they saw each other out in the water he had to let Austin give it a go.  Don’t fret because it is not too late.  The 2nd Austin .51 is now located in the Austin shop.  Check it out soon before this one disappears.

Cool Video

The first of the new noseriders gets its first layer of glass.  Each noserider will have a huge custom balsa or paulownia stringer and only carry old school pigment work.  It will be topped or bottomed off with an Austin custom pivot fin with special color bead.  We still don’t have a name for her but suggested names have been things like the 51 caliber, the engineer, the conductor, heavy creme, and others.  We want something that matches the old school.  If you have any suggestions leave it in a comment.
