We finished wrapping her with 4 oz and had to place the NOS logo.  During the original restoration the old logo was placed back into the wrong position.  It also was placed too deep into the board.  The final crazy thing was that they used a reproduction and it was the wrong logo for this board.  Through research we finally found the correct logo.  Going by the 60′s advertisement we found the correct position of the logo.  In the picture you can see the old placement of the logo.  We decided not to go so deep to grind all the old logo out.  We thought since it will be covered with pigment we didn’t want to destroy anymore of the old foam than we had to.  You can also see the new/correct placement of the correct logo.  We then covered the logo with a a 4 oz patch.  After hitting the edges where the lamination layers lap and the edges of the logo patch we hotcoated the whole thing top and bottom.
