After the center section was built up the board was completely sanded down to the weave. We then added a 4 oz cap layer top and bottom. This would add to the structural integrity and seal up any little cracks. The board was then hotcoated top and bottom. Finally the board was sanded with 100 grit and was ready for the final pigment layer.
