My shoes have been with me for about 6 years now. After a few months of wearing them I noticed they starting picking up little drips of color from the boards we were glassing. In fact about every two weeks you had to go smack them on the concrete outside or take a screwdriver and pry off a one inch layer of excess resin off the bottom. The top started to develop this layered artsy look that I thought was cool. My shoes are now wearing out and its time to replace them but I hate to let them go. I thought about making them into a “art” project that I could sell for millions of dollars. I figured for a million dollars I wouldn’t mind letting them go. Any takers? If the bids reach a million I will even throw in a custom Austin board.
