This is fun to watch! Troy I commented on this project earlier. You were kind enough to reply about the delam, but you didn't get around to how to deal with dents... You guys have inspired me to try a restoration on a trashed Bing Karm... I've sanded to the weave, but the board is Dents-ville, population in the hundreds. Unfortunately they're particularly deep over the logo.

A local shaper / repair guy recommends taking it back to the foam like you're doing here. He said if I want to ride it (which I do), that's what we should do. It doesn't have any collector's value, it's just a cool fat 7-2 single fin that I think would be fun here in Florida. I may go with his suggestion (and let him do the work, as that's over my head).

Two things, how do you feel about the shapers comments? And separately, if you don't mind sharing, what are the basic thoughts on dealing with dents? Seems like there's no easy way out of the woods with 'em.

Thanks in advance. I'm sure I'm not the only one out here who appreciates this blog...
